The Employee Salary section facilitates efficient management of employee compensation and salary-related information. Key features and functionalities include:
- Employee Salary Cycle: Specifies the frequency at which salaries are paid to employees, whether it’s monthly, yearly, or another interval.
- Salary Group: Allows grouping of employees based on similar salary structures or other criteria for simplifying management and administration.
- Allow Payroll to Generate: This enables you to control whether payroll should be automatically generated for a particular employee or if manual intervention is required.
Add Salary
To add or update salary details for an employee:
- Click on “Add Salary”: Initiates the process of adding a new salary detail for the selected employee, prompting the display of a form for data entry.
- Fill in Required Details: Enter essential information such as Annual CTC (Cost to Company), which serves as the basis for calculating other salary components.
- Automatic Calculation: Other salary components, calculation types, monthly amounts, and annual amounts are automatically computed based on the input provided, streamlining the process and ensuring accuracy.
